Another Day Softly
lavender rivers chiseled with chunks of ice
lovingly meet and disconnect, their
blue currents coursing to lake pockets of
watery foam, stirring
bracelets of wild geese
calling to me, sweeping
pelts of furry snow, spiked
by sun, fastened
on the shore’s edge
delivering another day
singing love songs softly.
